Mattress Giant Sealy Breaks Into Fetish?

Mattress manufacturer Sealy has come out with a new mattress using "latex comfort materials". Nice euphemism there. Now you rubberists home-improvers can buy a latex mattress to go with your latex rubber bedsheets and pillowcases.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

Build a better mattress, and the world should grab a pillow and beat a path to your door. They might even pay top dollar when they arrive.

That's what Sealy Corp. is hoping. With more than $1.6 billion in sales last year, the world's largest bedding manufacturer is making what seems to be an aggressive push into rubber latex for specialty bedding.

From a factory in Mountain Top, Pa., the company is ramping up its U.S. production for nonspring, 100% latex mattresses and latex core mattresses, with the first shipments expected this month...

"Speciality bedding"? Aha! But we all know what they're really up to, don't we?
