Looking back at last year's fashion generic offerings has left me with a meh feel in that deep black void where my heart should be. Except for the stiletto platform craze and a few standout pieces from various designers I give the year 2006 a big 90's WHATEVER.
However I did enjoy drooling over the Fall '06 Couture collection of Christian Dior [as usual]. The critics didn't like this collection too much -- something about it being too satanic, dark, and boring, and John Galliano looking like a crazy man in his spacesuit. I really dig armor, patent leather, and bondage strappy thingies. Shut up, critics.
